Barry M Magnetic Multi Sparkle.

Hmmm....I'm not actually a big fan of the whole magnetic nails thing. I don't know why but I just never really loved it.

BUT my sister got me this particular one for christmas because I had told her I liked the colour one time when we were shopping.

I really do LOVE the colour, its a silvery/grey/concretey/cementy sparkly kinda colour.

I decided to give it a go today and even try the magnetic lid thingy....and I actually quite liked the effect, much to my surprise!!

I only did it on two nails and I tried to get vertical lines on my middle finger ... but alas! I couldn't get it to happen!

So, this is how it went!!

I would definitely recommend it! I think it would look awesome over a black or dark base too!!

That is just two coats over a clear base coat.

I think I'll play around with this a little more and see what other kinds of patterns I can get!

Blue Moon.

So this is a super messy DIY half moon style nail post!

Started doing it and my mum decides we're going out...I thought I'd post it anyhow - to cover the basics! :)

First of all, pick your colours!

I went for a holographic base from 17, and Blue My Mind by OPI.

I put on a clear base coat because my nails are prone to staining!

Then I painted on two coats of the 17 polish and let it dry.

After that I got one of my new nail tools ( I normally use toothpicks...but thought I may aswell put my tools to some use!) and dotted on a semi circle shape with the blue.

Than I just painted my nails with two coats of the blue and there you have it!

A quick and simple half moon nail!

Sorry this post has been super quick!!

Gotta go!

Hello Gorgeous.

So, for christmas, my brother actually got me an amazing gift. My Lush obsession is becoming a little unhealthy (and gradually more expensive!), so he got me the Hello Gorgeous box.

I am obsessed. I love it sooooo much!! It is such a lovely gift! I was so excited when I unwrapped it, yes, even though it's in a pretty box and had ribbon around it, he still made the effort to wrap it!! Bless! :)

It's a lovely little flowery, purple gift box filled with gorgeous goodies!!!

The box contains;

  • Think Pink Bath Ballistic
  • The Comforter Bubble Bar 200g
  • Vanilla Deelite 100g
  • Rub Rub Rub shower scrub (140g)
  • Gorgeous moisturiser (10g trial size)

As you can see, I've not used by Think Pink yet. I'm waiting until I've used up the bubble bar!! but I love this little ball! anything that changes the colour of my bath water is fine by me!!

I am in love with this bubble bar. My sister picked it up in the shop and I wasn't keen on the smell, it smells a bit like strong blackcurrant juice! but you only need a small chunk crumbled under a running tap and my bath is bright pink and full of bubbles and smells lovely and fruity!

The Vanilla Deelite feels so lovely on my skin! and I love anything vanilla so I knew I was going to love that.
It's not an overpowering scent but it smells sweet and comforting and kinda makes me wanna lick my arm.....

The Rub Rub Rub shower scrub is amazing. I put this on dry before I get in the bath or shower and when I wash it off my skin feels heavenly!!!

The Gorgeous moisturiser I've only used once and it's lovely but I can't see myself buying a full size version of this because I have really dry skin and tend to stick to what works for me otherwise it really dries out, but if you're skin isn't as dry as mine this is literally 'gorgeous'.

I really do love Lush, especially when I go and select bits and bobs myself to put together as a gift for someone, but their gift boxes really are perfect gifts because you can get thee smaller ones as a lovely treat or you can go all out and get a big one to really spoil someone/yourself!!

I think they are pretty reasonably priced too, that's what I love about them, there's something to suit most budgets!

Anyone would be lucky to get one!

Even my brother was impressed. After I opened  it he said, "That's a boss shop that, it smells dead girly and bathy and nice."

What are your favourite Lush products or gift boxes?!

p.s boyfriend, if you read this, flowers give me a sore throat and make me sneeze....a bath bomb/bubble bar would be fine if you would like to say sorry after any fights we may possibly fight in the future!...not that I want to fight, but if we do, it's probably because I'm skint and have run out haha! ;)

Happy New Year.

SO, here it is....2013. We made it! haha!

2012 was an odd one.

Started off the year with a pretty grim outlook BUT, turns out it wasn't that bad of a year!

Made some new friends, made some decisions and  things started to look up after my birthday!

Got accepted onto my college course I've been applying to get on for the last few years! Finally get to do hairdressing and start making some pennies!!

Talked to this weirdo til 6am by the water ... stayed in touch with that weirdo and got myself a boy :).

One of the sweetest, most annoying creatures I have ever had the pleasure of knowing...and I know some pretty annoying people.

Went on holiday with my Mum and sister and it overlapped with my best friend so we got to spend a whole day together drinking cocktails!

My other best friend had a new baby girl, who is the tiniest, most beautiful thing I have ever seen.

My cousin got an AMAZING new job in Abu Dhabi so I now have more reason to fly Emirates haha!

Looking back now at 2009/2010/2011, this year has been really quite easy and  I think that's why it has flown by. Other than me being ill for the last leg of it, 2012 brought some wonderful things with it, I feel like such a lucky girl, but now I can't wait to see what 2013 has to offer!! - LOADS I hope!

Hopefully some travel, better health, a job I love, and more happy times and happy people!!

I never stick to resolutions so I'm not even going to bother, I'm just setting myself a few small guidelines:

Make the most of every moment I have, even the bad times (occasionally I do LOVE a good argument to cleanse the mind! ha!), look after myself, no drinking unless it's a special occasion, eat better for better skin and overall health and a better immune system, enjoy the treats!, exercise and meditate more, sleep more, drink more water and last but not least, save some money!!!

Basically do all of these things to make myself happy!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

hope you all have the best year ever and enjoy every moment!!
